Recently over at CHUD, they posted an excerpt from a video interview with Spider-Man and Drag Me to Hell director, and all-around cool, guy Sam Raimi. The interview was primarily to promote his upcoming return to the horror genre with Drag Me to Hell — which looks awesome, btw.
However, during the interview, they also manged to sneak in a few questions about Raimi’s next project, a movie you might have heard something about: Spider-Man 4. Among the things discussed in the interview was a rather big bombshell that we might be seeing Spider-Man fight vampires in the next film.
Of course, if that’s true, that means the villain (at least one of them) will have to be Morbius — in addition to, or instead of, The Lizard, which Marvel’s Avi Arad has been hinting would be the next Spidey villain. So, will we really see Spider-Man battling vampires in the next film? Check out Raimi’s response to the question in the video over at CHUD. It’s pretty interesting.
Now personally i was hoping since the release of Spider-man 2 that we'd see the Lizard. But in my opinion seeing a guy like a bat on the big screen is rather strange.

Ok here is who Raimi wants:
ReplyDeleteMorbius and the Lizard believing it would be best to show both sides one Scientist who wants to change back but cannot and the other who enjoys it but has to change back.
Personally my choice of villains would be:
Spider-man 4:
Three way fight Lizard Vs Spider-man Vs Kraven. Kraven is trying to capture them and lets Peter Parker go after discovering he is only Human. The Lizard goes on a rampage and attracts the attention of Kraven. Spider-man is trying to get them both to stop after finding out in an earlier confrontation that Connors is the Lizard. The film would end with Kraven leaving, The Lizard dying (Its Emotional) and Spider-man learning that life is precious and all he can do is prepare as a bigger threat looms.
id like to see both morbius and lizard.but im really deep down hoping for carnage cus hes just badass. we saw venom so its understandable to see the symbiote as carnage.

ReplyDeleteI agree we need to have carnage appear but it might get a bit annoying if we have had Venom die in Spider-man 3 then Carnage appear in Spider-man 4. Spider-man 4 should always be an emotional story. We had a huge fight in Spider-man 3 we know if there is a 6th film it will have a larger fight so we must have a more emotional storyline like Spider-man 2.
