Michael Papajohn Confirmed

Spider-Man 4 has started casting… sort of. Michael Papajohn is on board! So who is Michael Papajohn he’s the guy who killed Uncle Ben and was subsequently (albeit accidentally) killed by Spider-Man in the first film. Superhero Hype has learned that he’ll be back, though in what capacity he’s not saying. It’s not as if he needs to say. I think it’s pretty obvious. Whatever they’re doing for the fourth movie it’ll probably involve some sort of new flashback which they’ll need him for. Not exactly significant news but at least we know that Peter Parker is still all hung up on the past. ( He can possibley be the Rhino in Spider-man 4 because the Rhino was Sandmans partner in the cartoon series, but a Rhino... a guy dressed up with horn on his head? I dont think so.)

Well it's another Father's Day and i would just like to say Have a good one to all of the fathers out there and Happy Father's Day. :-)

Alfred Molina want's to come back

Well it turns out that Alfred Molina who played Dok Ock in Spidey 2 would love to come back for another movie. Molina said that he loved making Spider-man2 and he thinks it's a shame that his character died, also that " Villians in comics don't die... they just dissapear". Now the chances of Alfred Molina coming back for 4 are highly unlikely, although who... knows Dock Ock might be back ( i highly doubt it).

Dunst on board, Morbius is not

according to IMBd, It turn's out that Kirsten Dunst is reprising her role as Mary-Jane Watson. Nowfor fans this wouldn't come as a surprise beacuse of the post were Raimi said he sat down with Dunst and she wanted to come back.

Moving on to the villinous role...

Apparently Morbius the Living Vampire is not in Spider-man 4 the villian tha Raimi has stated that he has intrest in multiple times. Now the director said that it would be someone who, " play's a role to NY" very brief. in my opinion i want The Lizard because his character as Dr. Connors has been very well established in Spider-man 1 through 3. I just hope that they don't stuff to many characters in to one movie like they did in Spider-man 3 that should be the explanantion for why it was not that good.

Over the summer i am going to be reviewing my favorite upcoming movies such as... Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen... Well sadly that is all i'm really looking forward to this summer.

On another note i'd think that id let you know that i'm opening a new blog... on Transformers, particularly on Transformers 3 (not transformers 2 beause there are like 30 transformers 2 blog's). Although i will still post my review of Transformers 2 on both blog's... I will post when my New transformers 3 blog is up.

Spider-man 4 poster revealed.

While the movie doesn’t come out until 2011, and there’s no official word on what the story is, that hasn’t stopped the friendly, neighborhood marketing machine from releasing the very first poster for Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 4. It doesn’t reveal much, but it at least gives us hope that there WILL be a fourth film.
In a recent interview with Raimi, he said that playwright David Lindsay-Abaire (Inkheart) is working on the script and should have it done any day now. With that, should come details on what the next plot will be, including the villain, (Lizard and Morbius?). But until then, we have this teaser-ish poster to hold us over.

My Spider-man mini story.

over time, i've developed a mini story for what i hope turnes out to be Spider-man 4.

in Spidey 3 Connors had the sample (Venom Sample)... mabye he will run test's on it and then need to test it on some body as a cure for cancer or so... (they wud come up with something), and a murderer (Cletus Casady) wud end up donating his body, and then the experiment goes terribley rong and before you know it, there's a red-rampage loose in NYC. Mean while Connors is frustrated that his experiment went rong that he stars going crazy using any thing he can to find in his lab to re-grow his arm and he injects himself but turns him-self into the famous lizard.and then at sum point venom returns and nearly levels the lizard but carnage tries to kill venom but Lizard gets up and helps spidey n venom take out Carnage.
im not done yet but thats it so far...

Morbius the living Vampire is the villian is Spider-man 4?

Recently over at CHUD, they posted an excerpt from a video interview with Spider-Man and Drag Me to Hell director, and all-around cool, guy Sam Raimi. The interview was primarily to promote his upcoming return to the horror genre with Drag Me to Hell — which looks awesome, btw.
However, during the interview, they also manged to sneak in a few questions about Raimi’s next project, a movie you might have heard something about: Spider-Man 4. Among the things discussed in the interview was a rather big bombshell that we might be seeing Spider-Man fight vampires in the next film.
Of course, if that’s true, that means the villain (at least one of them) will have to be Morbius — in addition to, or instead of, The Lizard, which Marvel’s Avi Arad has been hinting would be the next Spidey villain. So, will we really see Spider-Man battling vampires in the next film? Check out Raimi’s response to the question in the video over at CHUD. It’s pretty interesting.

Now personally i was hoping since the release of Spider-man 2 that we'd see the Lizard. But in my opinion seeing a guy like a bat on the big screen is rather strange.

Spider-man 4 filming in Ireland?

The Sam Raimi-directed “Spider-Man 4” is years away from hitting theaters, but production is already scouting locations for the friendly neighborhood sequel. Interestingly enough, Peter Parker might be trading in his Daily Bugle gig for something decidedly more European.
According to Irish newspaper The Dundalk Democrat, “Spider-Man 4″ will film a small portion of the movie in Dundalk, Ireland. A somewhat sketchy article in the paper indicates that director Raimi has his sights set on the Irish town’s massive wind turbine for the titular superhero to scale.
The article states that Raimi first heard of the 60-meter high wind turbine through a New York Times article that detailed Dundalk’s Sustainable Energy Zone. Given the structure’s massive height, it’s more than likely that Spider-Man will ascend the towering object at some point in the film.
That’s assuming, of course, that the article has its facts straight. From typographical mistakes (”Spiderman” instead of “Spider-Man”) to factual inconsistencies (referring to the fourth “Spider-Man” film as “Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark,” the upcoming Broadway musical’s title) there’s some doubt as to the accuracy of the report — but if Spidey’s going international, it’s worth a look.
However, the article does cite Aprile Fulday (which sounds a bit too much like “April Fool’s Day”), a Marvel spokesperson, as saying, “We are delighted to be bringing one of our most celebrated comic and screen icons, [Spider-Man], to Dundalk, Ireland. Although we cannot discuss much at the present time, Mr. Raimi is certainly looking forward to featuring the DkIT wind turbine his latest film.”
Despite the inconsistencies in the Dundalk Democrat’s report, one thing we’re hoping proves true is Parker’s superheroic ascent of that enormous turbine — because that could make for a beautiful action sequence.

Kirsten Dunst On for Spideer-man 4?

Director Sam Raimi previously revealed that he wouldn't be able to make another "Spider-Man" film without Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. Maguire is already on board and Raimi has just revealed that he will be meeting with Dunst soon to see whether she's interested in returning."I'm hoping that she is going to come aboard, and I've got a meeting coming up with her," Raimi told Sci Fi wire. "I think she would like to. But I don't want to speak on behalf of her."He added that his goal with the new movie is to not be influenced by any other superhero films. "I hope we don't react to these very good and sometimes bad superhero movies around us. I hope that we just [look] ever deeper into the truth of who Peter Parker really is — as a human being and the unique character, and that we celebrate that, which is a lot of the reason I want to make this next picture. I still believe I have an understanding of Peter Parker as the character that I have not quite put onto the screen yet."Raimi has yet to look at the screenplay, but it should be ready by Summer. "Spider-Man 4" is scheduled to hit theaters on May 6th, 2011.

Carnage & Electro Spiderman 4 villians?

Ever since the announcement of a fourth "Spider-Man" film, fans have been wondering which villain will Spidey be battling against. Now, a scooper has sent a note to the Mania website, claiming that Hoyts Cinemas in Australia listed a synopsis for the movie.Synopsis: "Peter Parker now faces a more greater threat. After a man is accidentally killed in an electrical power outage; a mass murderer has bonded with a symbiote. Thus wreaking havoc as Peter faces this red rampage, as well as an electrifying madman."By going to the Hoyts Cinemas website, we didn't see the above synopsis and judging by the grammar, this entire thing seems completely made up. But if for a second we were to believe the scooper, it seems that Carnage and Electro are the villains set to appear in "Spider-Man 4."In related news, director Sam Raimi may have let slip that Carnage will be appearing on the big screen soon. When MTV asked him about a Venom spin-off, Raimi said: "I guess I don’t know about that. Do you mean Carnage? Maybe you're referring to a separate movie?"

Spiderman 4 latest details: Venom spin-off is confirmed, so are the writers.

Remember the Venom spin-off rumors that were slithering around last July? They've now turned into something official. Sony is developing a Venom movie, and they've hired two writers to develop it: Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who have only just left the still-filming Zombieland. The project is in such early stages that we don't have additional details, though more might become clearer once Spider-Man 4 settles down. However, our Scott Weinberg actually caught up with Reese and Wernick last week and has this to say: "Based only on the half-hour I spent talking movies with the screenwriters, I can say that IF there has to be a Venom movie, then these are the guys who can pull it off. They seem to understand the practical (studio) side of the project, the professional (screenwriter) perspective, and (best of all) the enthusiasm needed to make the movie cooool. They couldn't divulge ANY tidbits at all, sorry! But at this early point, I'm feeling a bit more optimistic about Venom."So, there you have Weinberg's take on the project and you know he'll probably be right. In the interests of keeping things balanced in cinematic geekdom, I shall remain skeptical about the symbiotic spin-off. Admittedly though, my bias may be purely based on how many jerks I know who sport Venom t-shirts.
